Universal Life Experiences Falling in love, losing a friend, and coping with death.
Author's Argument The point an author is trying to make.
Argument by Authority Here a famous person or an expert, or perhaps a scientist other professional in a field, makes a recommendation.
Argument by Emotion Here an ad appeals to the readers feelings. This can be anything from a cute puppy used to sell paper towels or pictures of a burglar breaking into your home if you do not buy a security alarm .
Argument by Logic Here evidence is presented to convince the audience to decide on their own that a purchase is a good idea.
