Outline Form An adaptable method or organization with different numbers and letters , it can be used either to describe a piece of writing after it has been written or to plan the framework of a piece of writing before it is created.
Library Books and/or reference texts that contain far more detail than all but a few websites.
Electronic Media A keyword to narrow down your search .
Personal Interview An expert or eyewitness provides personal connection to the topic but the information might be somewhat unrelated to the information needed .
Survey Doing your research increases accuracy, but may take time.
Primary sources Records of events by people who participated in or witnessed the events directly, they are called primary because they would be the first recorded, and most directly
Memoirs, journals, and diaries Useful because they record the opinions and thoughts of people from another time, usually as eyewitnesses accounts.
Public records and documents facts and details very useful in providing secondary information.
Newspaper may contain inaccurate information but often allow researchers to see how events were viewed in their day.
