Feeding intervention
OT intervention for oral motor control of infants and children

| Hand position of caregiver | Index finger under lip, middle finger under jaw, thumb on lateral end of mandible |
| What to do in presence of tonic bite reflex? | Firm downward pressure, using special spoon, on middle aspect of tongue |
| What to do in presence of tongue thrust? | Prevent drooling by facilitating lip closure. |
