| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Balanced Forces | Two or more force whose effects cancel each other out and do not change the motion of an object. |
| Center of mass | Point in a object that moves as if all of the object's mass were concentrated the point. |
| Force | A push or pull. |
| Friction | Force that acts to oppose sliding between two surfaces that are touching. |
| Net force | Combination of all forces acting an object. |
| Newton's first law motion | States that if the net force acting on an object is zero, the object will remain at rest of moving in a straight line with a constant speed. |
| Newton's second law motion | States that an object acted upon by a net forces will accelerate in the direction of the force. |
| Newton's third law motion | States that forces always act in equal but opposite pairs≥ |
| Unbalanced forces | Two or more forces acting on an object that do not cancel and cause the object to accelerate. |
| Weight | Gravitation force between an object and earth. |
