QuestionAnswer
Solid The state of matter in which the materials have a definite shape and volume.
Liquid The state of matter in which a materials have a definite volume but not a definite shape
Gas The state of matter in which a material has neither a definite shape nor volume.
Kinetic Energy The energy in an object that has due to its motion.
Phase Change The reversible physical change that occurs when a substance changes from one state of matter to another.
Endothermic A kind of change where the system absorbs energy from its surroudings
Heat of Fusion The amount of energy it takes for something to melt
exothermic A kind of change where the system releases energy into its surroundings.
