BMOD chapter 7
Question | Answer |
---|---|
Limited-Responding DRL | Specifies a max # of responses during a certain time interval in order for reinforcement to occur |
Instances to use Limited-Responding DRL | 1) Some of the Behavior is better; 2) Less of the behavior is better |
Differential Reinforcement of Low Rates | DRL; Reinforcer is presented ONLY if a particular response occurs at a low rate |
Spaced-Responding DRL | A specified behavior must NOT occur during a specified interval & after that interval has passed an instance of that behavior must then occur in order for a reinforcer to occur |
Differential Reinforcement of Zero Responding | DRO; Reinforcer is presented only if a specified response does not occr during a specified period of time |
Differential Reinforcement of Incompatible Behavior | DRI; Decrease a target response by withholding reinforcers for it (if we know their source & block them) |
