what are the three main states of mater? solid, liquid, and gas

what is the kinetic theory of gases ity states that it is the constant motion of particles in a gas allows a gas to fill a container of any shape or size.
what is pressure pressure is the result of a force distributed over an area
what happens when you reduce the volume of the gas? it would increase its pressure if the temperature and number of the partials are constant
what is the charles law? it states that a volume of a gas is directly proportional to its temperature in kelvins if the pressure and the number of particles of the gas are constant
state what the boyle's law is it states that the volume of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure if the temperature and the number of particles are constant
what is a phase change? a phase change is the reversible physical change that occurs when a substance from one state of matter to another
what are the common phase changes? melting,freezing,vaporization,condensation, sublimation,and deposition
what is endothermic? the system absorbs energy from its surroundings
what is exothermic? the system releases energy to its surroundings
what is vaporization an endothermic proces that turns a liquid to a gas.
