QuestionAnswer
Metaphor A comparison of two things which claims that one object is the same as the other.
Simile A comparison of two things saying one is like the other.
Adjective A describing word.
Adverb A word that describes how an action is taken.
Verb A word that tells you an action.
Noun A word that tells you the name of something.
Pronoun A word used in place of a noun when we are already familiar with what is being described, i.e, it, he, she.
Imperative verb A verb that gives you a command.
Emotive language Language that creates an emotional reaction.
Alliteration Two or more words that start with the same letter.
Assonance Two or more words that have the same vowel sound.
