| Freezing Point | Freezing Point- The temperature at which a substance begins to freeze. |
| Vaporization | Vaporization- Can be divided into two categories; evaporation and boiling. |
| Evaporation | Evaporation- A phase that changes from a liquid to a gas at the suface of a liquid below the boiling point. |
| Boiling | Boiling- a phase that changes froma liquid to a gas throughout the entire liquid. |
| Boiling Point | Boiling Point- The temperature at which a substance begins to boil. |
| Condensation | Condensation- The change in a phase from a gas to a liquid, material requires a loss of energy. |
| Sublimation | Sublimation- The change in phase from a solid to a gas without going through the liquid phase. |
| Deposition | Deposition- A phase that changes from a gas to a solid without going through the liquid phase.(frost) |
