What happens indisintegration?Drug becomes a liquid
By what route does disintegration take place Oral route.
What is rate limiting? time it takes for the drug to disintegrate and dissolve & to become available for absorption
Which dissolves faster? - drugs in liquid or solid form? Drugs in liquid form
when do enteric coated drugs begin to disintegrate? when the drug reaches the alkaline environment of the small intestine
Why should you refrain from crushing enteric coated drugs? they will be destroyed in the acid environment of the stomach
