Human Effects of Migration Man made creations such as transportation system, languages, religions, and government systems
Physical Effects of Migration Changes to the environment such as alterations to wildlife, animals, and water
Forced Migration Movement of a group of people that is required by another group of people
Reluctant Migration Movement of a group of people that takes place but with hesitation from the individuals to move
Voluntary Migration Movement of a group of people that is freely chosen by a group
Push Factors Issues or characteristics of a location that makes people want to leave that place
Pull Factors Characteristics of a location that make people want to migrate to that place
Chain Migration Movement from a current home to a new location because of the family or kinship ties to the new place
