| heat | a form of energy resulting from the motion of particles in matter |
| conduction | the movement of heat energy from one molecule to the next |
| conductor | material through which heat travels easily |
| convection | flow of energy that occurs when a warm liquid or gas rises |
| condensation | a change from a gas to a liquid |
| light | a form of energy that you see |
| reflection | light bouncing off an object |
| refraction | the bending of light |
| absorption | the taking in of light by an object |
| evaporate | to change from a liquid to a gas |
