QuestionAnswer
Alkali Metal Alkali metals are the most reactive metals, and are found in group 1.
Alkaline Earth Metals Alkaline earth metals are all the elements in group 2.
Transition Metal Transition metals are all the elements in group 3 through 12
Halogens Halogens are the most reactive non metals, and are found in group 17.
Nobel Gases Nobel gases dont react with anything, and are found in group 18.
Period Period means to go across
Row Row means to go up and down.
Mendeleev A russian scientist in the 1800s who made the periodic table modeled after solitaire, using chemical properties.
Photo Photo means light.
Chromo Chromo means to compare two objects.
Solv Solv means to solve or to work out.
Centro Centro means towards the enter of something.
