Quarter note : a quarter note has one beat. Quarter rest : 1 beat of rest.
Whole note ; a whole note has 4 beats. Bass clef : aceg/ spaces gbdfa/ lines.
Half note : a half note has 2 beats. Treble clef : egbdf/ lines face/ spaces.
Scale : a scale is the thing that holds the notes and it has 5 lines and 4 spaces. rythem : combination of notes and rests and beats.
Measure : a measure has 4 beats and holds the notes.
doted half note: a doted half note has 3 beats and sounds like ta ah.
grand staff: a staff that is when to staffs are joined together. half rest: 2 beats of rest.
Beat : it is the beat of the music. whole rest : 4 beats of rest.
