What does a transformer do? Part of the X-Ray machine that produces the HIGH VOLTAGE required for an XRAY
What is the X-RAY TUBE? The part of the machine that PRODUCES THE EXIT RADIATION
WHAT IS THE X-RAY TABLE? WHERE THE PATIENT LAYS DOWN
WHAT IS THE TRANSFORMER PRODUCES THE HIGH VOLTAGE REQUIRED FOR THE X-RAY PRODUCTION
WHAT IS THE CONTROL BOOTH? A WALL OR ENCLOSURE WITH A LEAD GLASS WINDOW DESIGNED TO PROTECT THE BXMO FROM RADIATION EXPOSURE.
WHAT IS THE CONTROL CONSOLE? USED TO SET THE EXPOSURE FACTORS AND INITIATE THE EXPOSURE.
DEFINE CENTRAL RAYS: IMAGINARY PERPENDICULAR LINE IN THE CENTER OF THE PRIMARY BEAM.
