Symbols of the Great Britian

TermDefinition
Union Jack The flag of the United Kingdom, made up of the crosses of St. George, St. Andrew, and St. Patrick.
Big Ben The nickname for the clock tower at the Palace of Westminster in London.
Royal Crown The symbol of the British monarchy, usually seen on the head of the reigning monarch.
Welsh Dragon A red dragon on a green and white background, the national flag of Wales.
Beefeater A ceremonial guardian at the Tower of London, dressed in a traditional uniform and hat
Scottish Thistle A spiky plant with purple flowers, the national emblem of Scotland.
Three Lions A symbol of England, featuring three lions passant guardant on a red background.
Double-Decker Bus A type of bus with two levels, commonly seen on the streets of London.
London Eye A giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London.
Red Telephone Box A traditional telephone booth that was once found all over the UK.
