MITA System of paid forced labour carried out by indigenous people
ENCOMIENDA Type of feudal system where The agrarian activities were carried out by Indigenous people
MORISCOS Ancien moorish people that decided to convert themsleves into the Catholicism due to the Pragmatic Santion of the Catholic Monarchs.
HOLLY INQUISITION Institution developed by the Catholic Monarchs to prevent false conversions. It main aim was to unify the territory through the Catholicism
CROWN OF ARAGON Territory formed by Aragón, Valencia, Catalonia and Balearic Islands. It was ruled by Fernando I.
ABSOLUTISM A way of government. In there, the king has all the power in his hands.
PARLIAMENTARISM A way of government. In there, the king shares the power with the Parliament.
MERCANTILISM An economic system where the State must control the economy and the trade. It tries to improve the exports and limit the imports.
VALID A person of total confidence of the king. The king led his power and the decision making in his hands.
