5-6 months In prone, shifts weight forward and reaches in supine, lifts head independently, reaches for toy, hands are mostly open, rolls from prone to supine sits alone momentarily, transfers objects from hand to hand
7 months Crawls forward on belly
7-10 months Reciprocal creep, sits alone steadily, may get to sitting position from prone, pulls to stand usually starting in half kneel, volitional release
10-11 months Creeps on hands and feet, stands alone momentarily, releases into a container with wrist straight
11-12 months Creeps well, takes independent steps
10-14 months Walking
15 months Able to start and stop in walking, precise release, creeps up stairs
18 months Runs, walks up stairs
2 years Jumps down from one step
2.5 years Hops on one foot
3 years Jumps off floor with both feet
