Connotation | An idea or feeling associated with a work beyond its literal meaning. |
Denotation | The literal or primary meaning of a word. |
Literal | Taking words in their most basic, extent sense. |
Figurative | Taking words in a metaphorical sense. |
Prose | Written or spoken language in its ordinary, non poetic, form. |
Horror | A literary genre designed to scare the living snot out of you. |
Dismember | To chop a body into peices. |
