| Question | Answer |
| Motion | An object is in motion when its distance from another object is changing. |
| Reference Point | A place or object used for comparison to determine if something is in motion. |
| Internation System of Units (SI) | Scientists all over the world use this system so that they can communicate clearly. |
| Meter | The basic unit of length. |
| Speed | A rate (usually rapid) at which something happens. |
| Avereage Speed | The speed of most mooving objects is not constant. Because of this we can calculate average speed. |
