RTI conference | the conference with one or more specialists to dicuss Tier 1(modified tasks in the typical classroom), Tier 2 (specialized intervention), Tier 3 (intensive intervention) |
Initial referral conference | the meeting where teachers & parents meet to share concerns about a child's progress in the learning situation. leads into the RTI conference |
multidisciplinary staffing | group of professionals involved in the assessment of children with special needs, the teaching of these children, & the evaluaton of their progress. - are part of the RTI conference and the initial reference conference. |
primary responsibility | the person expected to perform a certain task. with child study's it is the professional who prepares the summary report about the person. |
diagnostic evaluation | (diagnostic tests) tests that delve deeply into achievement in one domain or subject. often theses are administered individually. mostly planned/requested for the physicans. |
Referral question | questions posed in a child study to aid in the determination of the specific problems and needs of a child and the assessing of the developmental progress of the child. when further information is needed for the study. |
