absolute value | the distance from x to the origin on the number line; never less than zero because it represents distance |
whole number | Non-negative integers {0, 1, 2, 3 …} |
negative | A number less than zero |
positive | A number greater than zero |

additive inverse | the number which when added to another number equals zero |
