| cut scene | A cutscene or event scene (sometimes in-game cinematic or in-game movie) is a sequence in a video game that is not interactive, breaking up the gameplay |
| ESA | The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is where the major players of the video game industry work together to support the bright future of video games. The video game industry is one of America's fastest growing industries. |
| ESBR Rating | ESRB ratings provide information about what's in a game or app so parents and consumers can make informed choices about which games are right for their family. Ratings have 3 parts: Rating Categories, Content Descriptors, and Interactive Elements. |

| Object | A game object generally represents a particular object or element in your game that can emit a sound, including characters, weapons, ambient objects, such as torches, and so on. |
