La nina | Eastern winds become strong and the opposite of El nino occurs-Pacific gets colder |
weather | unpredicteble changes in the air that take place in a short period of time. |
El Nino | Caused by the combination of temperarture wind and water. |
strait 2 | narrow stretch of water joining two larger bodies of water. |

typhoon | name for a hurricanae. |
tornado | funnel-shaped windstorm; sometimes forms during a thunderstorm. |
El nino cent. | formed when cold winds from the norht are week. Pacific oceean gets warmer. Occurs every 3 weeks. |
channel 2 | wide strait or waterway between two landmasses that lie close to each other |
current | moving streams of water in the worlds oceans; affects climate |
valley 2 | area of lowland between hills and mountains. |
sea 2 | large body of water partially or competely surrounded by land. |
hurricane | violent tropical storm with high winds and heavy rainfall |
