| Term | Definition |
| Acute Angle | Angle whose measure less than 90 degrees. |
| Obtuse Angle | Angle whose measure is greater than 90 degrees. |
| Right Angle | Angle whose measure is equal to 90 degrees. |
| Complementary Angles | Angles whose sum is equal to 90 degrees. |
| Supplementary Angles | Angles whose sum is equal to 180 degrees. |
| Vertical Angles | Opposite, congruent angles formed by intersecting lines. |
| Linear Pair | Angles that share a common side and outside rays form a straight angle. |
| Adjacent Angles | Angles that share a common side(ray). |
| Ray | Contain one end point and extends indefinitely in the other direction. |
| Vertex | Common endpoint of two rays that form an angle. |
| Straight Angle | Angle whose opposite rays form a straight angle. |
