Testing: PT cannot perform auditory testing but patient may be referred

Testing: Articulating / making sounds

Cranial Nerve X : Action / Testing | Vagus: swallowing, gotteral speech sounds, and parasympathetic action of heart/lungs/stomach
Testing: patient to say deep stomach sounds such as "guh, ahh." Patient will be unable to lower heightened responses from sympatheic reactions

Cranial Nerve XI : Action / Testing | Accessory: shrugging of the shoulders, turning the head side to side

Cranial Nerve XII : Action / Testing | Hypoglossal: motor of the tongue
Testing: patient sticks their tongue out. Deviation to the right or left
