What does the acronym LOWERN stand for, for each letter explain how each factor affects the climate of Canada.   Latitude - the further away a region is the from the equator, the cooler the climate will be. Ocean currents - warm water gives off more moisture than cool water.
🗑
Wind and Air masses - wind is the movement of air from one place to another. The direction of movement of air is from west to east. Therefore Canada is in the westerly wind belt Elevation - Temperature drops 1 degrees Celsius every 200m high.
