Differential Erosion | Rocks shaped like steps and cliffs and slopes are formed through the process of the weaker rocks eroding first from a mixture of stronger rocks and weaker rocks. It leaves behind the stronger rocks in the shape of knobs and cliffs.

Plateau | A large, nearly level area of land that has been uplifted or elevated above the surrounding area.
