| How did British control begin to slip? | The colonists started to take control and the colonists fought back and protested on the acts

| Why did General Gage send troops to Lexington and Concord? | He sent 700 soldiers to find weapons and to arrest the two patriots leaders.

| What democratic traditions were threatened by Parliaments policies? | Town meetings and replacing the elected council. Also increased the governors power over the colonists.

| Why did Americans have to choose to be either a Patriot or a Loyalist at this time? | Americans had to choose which side they wanted to support. The Patriots wanted to break away from Britain rule and the Loyalists wanted to stay under Britain.
