Bacitran   Polypeptide antibiotic (applied topically). Treatment or prevention of local skin infections from aerobic & anaerobic bacteria. Inhibits cell wall synthesis. adverse effects: minimal

Neomycin & Polymyxin B ( Neosporin)   Combination of two drugs alone, also contains bacitran. Used as a topical antiseptic from minor skin wounds. Over-Use can cause future allergic reactions of the skin.

Mupirocin   Used topically for staph and strep impetigo(blisters on face and hands). Intranasal form for MRSA. Adverse effects: local burning, itching, minor pain
