Accomodation   a change that helps a student overcome or work around the disability.

Modification   a change in what is being taught to or expected from the student, is another type of support a student with an IEP may receive.

Inclusion   the educational practice of educating children with disabilities in classrooms with children without disabilities.

Instructional Technologies   improving the efficiency and effectiveness of instruction involving: designing instruction including all the phases of activity from needs assessment to evaluation, and applying learning theory to instructional design.

Assistive Technologies   adaptive, and rehabilitative devices for people with disabilities and also includes the process used in selecting, locating, and using them.

Parallel Teaching   the teachers are both covering the same information, but they divide the class into two groups and teach simultaneously.

One teach / One Assist   one person would keep primary responsibility for teaching while the other professional circulated through the room providing unobtrusive assistance to students as needed.

Station Teaching   teachers divide content and students. Each teacher then teaches the content to one group and subsequently repeats the instruction for the other group.

Alternative Teaching   one teacher takes responsibility for the large group while the other works with a smaller group.
