Frost Action(freeze-thaw action) happens when | 1. During the day water falls into the cracks in rocks
2. At night, temperatures fall below freezing,the water freezes + expands. This widens the cracks + puts pressure on the rock.
3. Over time, freeze-thaw action keeps happening and the rock breaks.
