Adrenergic   Mimics activity of dopamine sympathetic nervous system; treatment of shock, cardiac arrest.

Adrenergic Blocker   Lowers Blood pressure by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors in the CNS, causing vasodilation.

Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors   Lowers the blood pressure by blocking the conversion of angiotension I to angiotension II.

Anticholinergic   Completely inhibit the activity (cholinergic blocker) of acetylcholine.

Anticoagulant   Prevent the formation & extension of a thrombus; interfere w/ clotting mechanism.
