Wilderness area of mountains and deciduous forests   Guides and trekkers help to deter poachers so rare species are conserved - Numbers of tourists has increased rapidly, 5000 in 1995 to 25,000 in 2000; increase demand on resources e.g. water, land, increased waste, pollution

Rare wildlife includes rare clouded leopards and tigers which are in danger of extinction, Asian elephants and rare birds   Plans for roads
