What is “developmental psychology”?   The field in which psychologists study how people grow and change throughout the lifespan

Why are psychologists interested in studying infancy and childhood?   Because early childhood experiences affect people as adolescents and adults. They can learn about developmental problems, causes and treatments

Explain Nature vs. Nurture:   Nature is our inherited traits. The idea that we are born with certain instincts and attitudes. Nurture is the environment we are brought up in. Our personality and attitudes are shaped by what we see and experience

What are reflexes?   An involuntary reaction or response to a stimulus

What is the difference between gross motor skills and fine motor skills?   Gross Motor skills are in developing mjor muscle groups such as arm and leg coordination. FINE motor skills refer to the hands, face and other small muscles.
