Graphics Any visual illustration that shows qualities or quantities of things by means of lines, shapes, colors, and other symbols
Pictograph It uses symbols and pictures to compare amounts
Bar Graph It shows comparisons between things by lining up bars next to one another
Line Graph It shows the change of amount over length of time
Climagraph A combined bar graph and line graph that shows the rainfall and temperature of a place for each month of the year
Circle Graph A type of graph that compares the parts to the whole
Diagram A drawing that explains how a thing works or why something happens
Table It organizes facts and statistics into columns and rows to better understand them
Timeline It shows when a series of related events took place
Cartogram A type of map in which the size of nations are based upon some quantities other than area
Population Pyramid A kind of bar graph that shows the size of different age groups in a population
