provinces- a territory governed as an administrative or political unit of a country or empire.
hinterland- a region situated beyond metropolitan centers of culture.
parliament- A national representative body having supreme legislative powers within the state.
consensus- general agreement or accord:governmennt by consensus.
regionalism- a strong feeling of strong political and emotional loyalty to one's own region.
sparatism- the belief that certain parts of a country should be independent.
