Define Landforms? Shapes that make up the surface of the Earth.
Define Plains? A large area of nearly flat land.
Define Georgraphy? the study of the earth and the way people, plants, and animals live on and use the land.
What is a border? Often a river or an ocean froms a border between two places.
Define plateau a large area that rises steeply above the surrounding land.
defince Valley? a low land between hills or mountains.
Define the Ice Age? a long period of very cold weather.
When was the last Ice Age? 10,000 years ago.
Define a Glacier? Ice more than a mile thick.
How did NY Glaciers affect the land? The glaciers bulldozed the land and it rounded off high hills and filled in deep valleys.
Define a Moraine? a line of hills formed when the rocks are deposited by a glacier.
How does and the Ice Age end? ? couldn't read ty's hand writing
What is a till? mix of rocks and soil left by a glacier.
What are drumlins? Rounded hills formed by the glacier.
