Migration/population

QuestionAnswer
Why is there an uneven population density. (rural sparsely). Hilly land, Thin, infertile and acidic soils, extreme weather, few jobs, isolation.
Why is there an uneven population density. (rural densely). Flat land, fertile land, out of town shopping mall and sport facilities.
Why is there an uneven population density. (Urban). Flat land, mild winters, good transport for materials.
Migration. Movement of people in and out of an area.
Dependency load. People who are too old or young to work.
choropleth map. Maps where the darker the shade the higher the number.
Megacity. A place with over 10 million people.
Natural difference. Difference of birth and death rate.
Population structure. How the country is divided up between males and females of different age groups.
Population density. The number of people per square kilometre. Population density = total population ÷ total land area in km2.
