Marsh

Marsh A soft wet, low lying, grassy area between water and dry land.
Straight Two Narrow strips of water that connects two bodies of water
River Mouth The place where a river flows into a lake or ocean.
Flood Plain Flat land along side of a river formed by mud and silt developed by floods.
Delta A triangular area of land formed from deposits at a mouth of a river
Cape A pointed piece of land extending into a lake or an ocean
Harbor A shelter of water , deep enough to dock a boat
Butte A raised flat area of land with steep sides, smaller than a mesa.
Oasis A spot of fertile land in a desert, supplied with water by a well or a spring.
Mesa A wild flat topped mountain with steep sides, larger than a butte.
Prairie A large area of grassland with few or no trees.
Cataract large powerful waterfall
Steppe Wild treeless plain.
