TermDefinition
Cliff A steep place that drops straight down, often near the sea.
Field An open area filled with grass or crops, like wheat or corn
Island Land completely surrounded by water
Lake A body of fresh water surrounded by land, similar to a small sea
Mountain A tall rock formation, often snowy on top, that is hard to climb
Snow White flakes that fall from the sky in winter and melt in warmth
Cloud A white or dark formation high in the sky that can bring rain
Fog A low cloud on the ground that makes it hard to see
Elephant The largest land animal, known for its long trunk and big ears
Insect A tiny creature with six legs, some can fly, and many are busy like ants or bees
