| Equinox | Each of the two times of the year when days and nights are of equal length |
| Weather | The condition of Earth's atmosphere at a particular time and place. |
| Climate | The average weather conditions in an area over a long period of time |
| Ecosystem | the interaction of plant life, animal life, and the physical environment in which they live. |
| Interdependence | the dependence of two or more living things on each other. |
| Biome | A group of ecosystems with similar climates and organisms |
| Physical Geography | The branch of geography concerned with natural features of the earth's surface, such as landforms, drainage features, climates, soils & vegetation |
| Landform | A physical feature on Earth's surface that has a recognizable shape |
