What is crust? Is the thinnest layer of solid rock which covers the surface of the Earth
What is plates? Sections of crust
What is the mantle? Magma is composed of molten magma.
What is the core? Its the centre of the Earth
How hot is the core? 3000 degrees and 5000 degrees.
What is the core made out of? Mostly made out of iron.
What is the core divided into? Inner core and outer core
What is continental drift? It is when plates move very small distances each year.
What do convection currents do? They cause the plates to move
Name the directions where the plates Slide past,Separate,Collide
When the continents were joined together in a huge landmass it was called? Pangaea
