What is a blow hole? A blow hole is The whole made by a erosian. It blows up water when pressure builds
How is a blowhole formed? A blowhole is formed when waves crash into a cave and compressed air causes the roof to shatter.
What is a sea stack? A sea stack is a pillar of rock that has been eroded away from a cliff.
What is a sea stump? An eroded sea stack
What is a sea arch? A sea arch is an arch shaped tunnel that goes through a headland
What is a sea cave? A sea cave is a cave at a cliffs base
What is the name for materials transported by waves? The load
What is the movement of the load along the coast called. The longshore drift
What way do waves approach the shore? From the side
What does the swash do? The swash pushes materials up the beach at an angle.
What does each backwash do? Each backwash drags material back down the beach.
What happens as the process is repeated? As the process is repeated the material is gradually transported along the shore in a zigzag Manor
