geography rocks

QuestionAnswer
what is erosion? Erosion is the breaking down of rocks and the removal of particles that result.
what is weathering? Weathering is the breakdown and decay of rocks that are exposed to the weather.
In freeze thaw what is the rock that is broken off? Scree.
What is deposition? Deposition is when a river drops or deposits its load when it loses its speed and has less energy.
What is transportation? Transportation is when a river carries its load from upland areas to low land areas.
What is hydraulic action? Hydraulic action is the force of the moving water that breaks off material from the banks and bed of the river
