refugees: people who have been forced to leave and cannot return to their homes
culture region: an area in which people have shared culture traits
ethnic group: a human population that shares a common culture or ancestery
acculturation: when a individual or group adopts some of the traits of another culture
culture innovation: new ideas that culture adapts
culture diffusion when an idea of innovation spreads from one person or group to another and is adopted
globalization: when connections around the world increase cultures and become more alike
traditions: following longtime practices and opposing new ideas
fundamentalism: any case where people believe in following traditional beliefs or teachings
dialect: a regional variety of a language
Lingua Franca a world laungage that is used for business and communication
ethnic religion focuses on one ethnic group and have no spread to others
animalist religion: religions that believe in the presence of spirtis and forces of nature
