TRMS Unit 5 Geography Terms (Zimmerman)

TermDefinition
Rural Describing a quality of the countryside.
Overpopulation Having a population so dense is causes environmental harm, poor quality of life or strains available resources.
Urban Describing a quality of the city.
Population Density The total number of people living in an area divided by the total land area.
Immigration Migration into a new area from another to live there.
Emigration To move away from one area in order to settle in another.
