TermDefinition
Constitutional Monarchy kings power is limited by a constitution. Their is one in Monaco.
Absolute Monarchy king has all power. Their is one in Oman.
Monarchy Ruled by one. Usually a king,Queen or sultan. Position is inherited(passed down from parents). Their is one in Asia.
Dicatorship One ruler. Holds total power. Usually gains control by using military force. Ex:past Dictators:Hitler-Germany,Hussein-Iraq,Castro-Cuba. Their is one in Syria.
Democracy Ruled by the people. All citizens can take part in government. Government of the people:rule of the majority. Citizens can vote and run for office. Their is one in India,Turkey.
Theocracy Is a government that is run by religious authorities. Leader claims unlimited power in the name of god or other supernatural forces. Their is one in Yemen.
