Region Stuck Stack

TermDefinition
Functional Region a region that retains specific characteristics within a given geographical area
Perceptual Region an area or location which people believe exists as a section of their cultural identity. These regions materialise from people's unofficial sense of place rather than scientific models, which are developed through geographic thought
Formal Region regions that are places with similar features
Physical Characteristics are features of a substance or object that are primarily visually perceptible and generally measurable (hardness, color, shape)
Human Characteristics characteristics of a place that are related to people; these might include buildings or parks
Boundraries something that indicates bounds or limits; a limiting or bounding line
Unifying to make or become a single unit; unite
