This is the Snack Stack cards for the Movement menu assignment 4 Mrs. Hansen

TermDefinition
Migration The movement (ususally seasonal movement of an animal) of something from one place to another (for example, ducks migrate to Florida when it gets cold in South Carolina).
Transportation The source that moves things from one place to another (or the process of being transported).
Pull Factors The factors that make people want to go to a specific place (pull them in)
Push Factors The factors that make people not want to go to a specific place (push them away)
Space-Time Compression
Immigration The action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country.
Technology The APPLICATION of scientific knowledge for practical purposes (for ex. laptops, smart phones, ipads and ipods,internet, wifi, etc.)
